Dandelion Travel is a proudly Canadian agency based in Squamish, BC, owned and run by women since 2024. When you plan with us, you work with a local advisor who knows the destinations firsthand and takes the time to understand how you like to travel.
Every traveller needs a different level of help, so you choose how involved I am. I can advise and plan a trip that you book yourself through my site, or I can take care of everything, from complete itinerary planning to every booking for a complex trip with many moving parts.

Hi, I’m Shandy Rae, the founder of Dandelion Travel.
I love discovering hidden gems, from rustic beach towns to five star hideaways. I have lived in Mexico, the Cayman Islands and Spain, and I have travelled extensively through Portugal and France, so my recommendations come from my own experience.
I have also lived and worked on private yachts, which gave me a close look at the luxury side of travel and a high standard for service and detail.
Today I help clients find everything from hidden beaches and boutique hotels to the best all inclusive resorts or private villas.
I am a certified Virgin Voyages First Mate, and I hold certifications with Marriott, Hyatt and Disney Cruise Line, so you get insider knowledge and added value when you book with me.
